Scottsdale Condos, Lofts and Townhomes For Sale

Welcome to Scottsdale Condo Mania!

Scottsdale condos and Scottsdale townhomes offer city living with low maintenance and great amenities just steps from your door, and buyers now have more choices than ever. Condo-mania continues as new Scottsdale condominiums and loft developments pop up all over the city.

Scottsdale is a prime area for condo ownership. Scottsdale continues to add quality jobs, which will attract a prime condo demographic: the urban professional who will also enjoy the shopping and nightlife the area provides. With valley traffic getting more congested every year, living and working in the same area is now a priority. In addition, Scottsdale continues its tradition of attracting second home buyers from all over the country and Canada.

Scottsdale Luxury Condos

Scottsdale is following the trend of many major western cities in offering luxury high rise living in urban areas. Scottsdale has thousands of new high rise and mid-rise Scottsdale condos in the middle of construction or recently completed. Most new luxury condos are in the downtown Scottsdale area, with others sprinkled among Kierland and the mid-town area. High-rise condos usually start at $500,000 for one bedroom units and $650,000 for two bedroom units. The Scottsdale Waterfront has some of the highest priced units, with great views and first class amenities. The Kierland area has The Landmark, a luxury condo community with views of the Kierland golf course and next to the popular Kierland Commons Shopping Center.

Luxury Townhomes and low-rise condos have been popular in Scottsdale for many years. Many townhome styles have the unit upstairs and the garage downstairs. Villas and patio homes (usually one story) are a favorite because of their "home-like" feel. Most have a garage and a patio in the back, with the HOA taking care of the landscaping. Some of my favorite luxury townhomes are Avian at Grayhawk, and at DC Ranch.

Scottsdale Lofts

3rd Avenue Lofts

When most people think of lofts, they assume very tall ceilings, exposed pipes, minimalist furniture and concrete or hardwood floors. There are a few "true" Scottsdale loft communities, including the Third Avenue Lofts, the Main Street Plaza Lofts and The Kierland Lofts. Other developments call themselves lofts, but "soften" the look with European kitchens, high ceilings (without the exposed pipes) and little more carpeting. X Lofts, Citro and Safari Drive are several communities under construction that fit this description.
