Just when we thought just about every builder was sitting on their collective hands rather than start a new development for sale,  Corriente has stepped up with new construction on its luxury condo community near McCormick Ranch.

Phase 3 has started construction, with just over 50% sold already.   That shows you the interest that buyers have for the new stuff. Pricing starts at $241,000 for a one-bed/one-bath unit and heads up to $464,000 for a Perla unit at 1567 square feet.  The Zafiro model is the best priced 2-bedroom floorplan, with prices between $331,000 and $344,000. The newest building is situated by the pool and clubhouse/fitness center and is scheduled to be complete by early 2014.

Corriente is nicely located near the clubhouse for Silverado Golf course - they share a road taken that ends at the Silverado Clubhouse.  Residents can also walk to the Scottsdale Seville shopping area for coffee at Starbucks or lunch at the Wildflower Bread Company.

Corriente is the best game in town for those looking for new development in Scottsdale under $400,000.  Good location, nice interiors and decked-out amenities make this community a good choice for luxury condominium buyers wanting a never-lived-in condo.
