First quarter 2016 sales numbers are in, with the Median Price for Scottsdale condos, lofts, patio homes and townhomes, reaching $239,000, a whopping increase of 6.2% from the first quarter of last year.
Although number of sales is off from last year at this time, buyers are interested and paying for the luxury condos in communities like Encore at Grayhawk (7 sold last quarter).
The increase wasn't born on the backs of the highest priced condos. 7 condos and townhomes over a million sold, compared to 10 in the first quarter of last year. The most expensive condo was at Scottsdale Waterfront, for $1,900,000 or $638 per square foot.
Second Quarter is Scottsdale's busiest condo buying season, and our client demand remains strong. We're expecting another good few months into the early summer.
