Lower Priced Condos with Garages? Yes!

Whether you have a $50,000 Audi or a $10,000 used Honda, having your biggest tool of freedom in a carport can seem like, well, so "apartment-y". A garage is one of the most sought after features, right behind a view. Not only do they keep your car out of the elements, you can also store a few things there that don't fit well in a smaller condo our townhome, like a bike or a box of extra stuff.
But having a garage in a Scottsdale condo can sometimes cost you. The extra footprint uses up space that could have been reserved for half a condo, so builders priced that square footage into the home. But never fear, there are a few choices for budget buyers that will catch your eye.
Affordable Grayhawk Condos with Garages
One of our favorite affordable condos with a garage in North Scottsdale is Venu at Grayhawk. One-car garages come standard in this community (with 2-car garages in some larger units), and some floorplans even have the garage attached for easy access to your vehicle and your stuff inside the garage. However, open parking is slim in this community, so make sure your parking needs are covered when you buy here.
Snag a Garage in a Community where Carports are Standard
There are some Scottsdale condo communities where private garages DON'T come standard, but a few condos have a garage option available. The Plaza Residences is one example in the Kierland area. This community has un-attached garages that line the outside of the community. You might have a little walk to get to the garage, but its worth the walk for many buyers, especially for winter residents that leave a car here during the summer. Condos with garages have sold for about $7000 more on average in this community in the last few years.
The bottom line is that garages can be had in some of the lower price points in Scottsdale. If garage parking is important to you, contact us for a full list of what's available in your price point.
